A CLOSE SHAVE!


Until this moment, it hadn’t occurred to me, but it seems that hounds are rather like pianos!  By this, I mean it was just a few weeks ago that I related the visit of Mr Kear our piano tuner, and his twice yearly visits….well it came to pass (how biblical) that recently it happened to be the time when the boy Bing received something of a 'fine tuning'…in short a haircut!

We have - at last, been ‘enjoying’ some rather hot days of late, and as the boy Bing is due to travel to Devon for his first visit to the seaside, it seemed appropriate to book him in for a ‘short back and sides’ in readiness for the golden sands of North Devonshire, and Croyde Bay in particular!!

Now, the lad has had encounters with the charming lady who deals with these matters, and so it was, that he was delivered to the ‘salon’ and the implements therein!

I’m told, by Tom & Angela that, on the whole he is not ‘toooo bad’ when it comes to clippers & bathing operations, although he can look a tad hang dog whilst ablutions of a ‘sudsy’ nature are performed.  He is however of a bright disposition, and within seconds of a rigorous towelling, a short nap is required, before the young 'shaver’ is ready for the off!
