To Flea or not to........

........that is the question! 

After a wet start to our summer and then a delightfully warm end, it's meant Lowtown, like much of the rest of the country, has had an increase in various 'buzzers and whizzers' (Bings words not mine.) Thus, these B & W's have been pretty keen to take up residence on certain hounds, one, sitting not a million miles from me.

Frankly, so far they’ve not really bothered the lad, but nevertheless, it’s meant various treatments have been taking place with much success, even if Bingo has been put to certain amount of inconvenience.

I mention this, not to make you feel itchy, or wonder what the boy’s been up to, but to highlight the various methods used to allow such medications to be most efficacious!
Hence………..

In truth this method was short lived, as it was evident from the word go, he'd decided this contraption was some form of megaphone….and a series of WOOFS & 'Baskerville' type HOWLS quickly led to its disappearance.  It should be added that the boy Bing is not a regular barker, but when it happens one cannot fail to be impressed.

Say nothing, but I rather think I didn’t help matters when I was suddenly confronted with this apparition - and laughed helplessly.

Fortunately the lad is of a sunny disposition, and we were soon best of pals once again, and he announced he really would try and not seek out the flea repellent, and allow the ‘dose’ to do its work.

I'm delighted to report, his unexpected visitors have packed up and ‘hopped’ it!

Is it just me or does he look as if he’s wearing a tutu?
